Antony Wilson Organist
Antony Wilson has been organist and choirmaster at Saltwood since 1995. He thinks that music is able to make a unique contribution to worship in church.

The Organ
The striking case on the north side of the chancel contains a high quality instrument dating from around 1870. It is thought that the original instrument was built by J.W.Walker and Sons.
For a small country church this was clearly a substantial investment.

The solid oak case and the 16' Open Diapason metal stop on display are both unusual. The original maker's plate has been removed and replaced by one of Dalladay of Hastings, the firm that carried out modifications and additions in 1910.
