GROUPS

Lad's Club
The Lads' Club is a church-owned building close to the church which is managed by a committee of the PCC. It is primarily for the use of young people in Saltwood and so is the base for Brownies, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, the SOS Group and the Sunday Club.
A day nursery school is also open there every morning of the week during term time.
The Lads' Club is available for functions and can be booked for parties or small receptions after baptisms, funerals or weddings. We can accommodate as many as 80 people seated theatre style or 70 for a sit-down meal. It is also ideal for active children's parties for up to 25 youngsters.
Kitchen facilities are available. For availability and cost of hire details, please contact Eric Barnes via the parish office - contact

Mothers and Others
Mothers & Others
Mothers and Toddlers is a group of mothers and others (because it's sometimes granny, aunt, a carer or even father) who meet in the church for a simple service and fellowship on the second Wednesday of every month at 2.15pm for about an hour with an open invitation for anybody to just turn up.
Tea and coffee (squash for the little ones), cake and biscuits are provided

Sunday Club
Intended for children aged 3 to 11 Sunday Club is a mixture of fun, Christian teaching and worship. Our meetings are activity based and include drawing, craftwork, singing, acting and lots more!
The Sunday Club meets in the Lads' Club near the church at 9.50 am every Sunday during school term time, except on the first Sunday of the month when there is a Church Family Service. Timed to finish at 10.45 am, just before the end of Sunday morning worship in church, this gives some of the children an opportunity to join their parents for the final part of the service.

Healing Prayer Group
Healing Prayer Group
Members of this group undertake to pray regularly, not only for those whose need is urgent and maybe only temporary, but also for those whose need is more of an ongoing nature. Some of our members are housebound but are glad to join their prayers with other members. Currently the group numbers has just over 20. We meet once a quarter on a Wednesday morning in the home of one of our members and after a cup of coffee we review the progress of those on our lists.
We would be glad to hear from you if you would like us to pray for a member of your family or a friend being placed on our list. contact
